What happened with The Day Before?

As some of you may know, The Day Before last night on the 24th, was taken off the Steam Page, completely wiped off the Steam Store, as well as every single person who wish-listed this game.

So what does that mean exactly? Well FNTASTIC, the developers behind this so-called "game," put out a tweet stating, an individual under the name, Sun Jae Lee, apparently applied for the trademark and the name, "The Day Before." So it took an entire year, after the announcement of The Day Before, for them to even file for the application for the name, which does not make a lot of sense, practically no sense for FNTASTIC to do after all of they hype around this game. I also say game very loosely.

With all that being said, FNTASTIC decided to delay the game yet again, to November 10th, 2023, which in my opinion, means they 1. Did not have the actual raw gameplay they said would come out at the end of this month. 2. That the game does not actually even exist, and even if it did, the damage is already done, and 3. Just because a game doesn't ask for money, doesn't mean it's not a fraud, a sham of a development team, and game.

Regardless, I'm sure their discord server is on fire, with people somehow still defending this non-existent project, it really makes me question why, and how? I know the survival shooter genre is lackluster these last few years, but what do you think about this entire situation?
